This pull, as part of the engine and machinery show, is conducted to demonstrate
the pulling ability of these old tractors and for the entertainment of spectators.
We expect this to be a friendly competition and anticipate that all owners
and operators will maintain that attitude at all times.
- All drivers must be at least fourteen (14) and older. Young
drivers may be required to provide proof of age. All operators will be required
to sign a release form relieving the sponsor from all personal and property
liability. Fourteen to eighteen (14-18) year olds will be required to have
a Parent or Guardian sign the release form.
- There will be a $10.00 fee per tractor per hook, payable
during registration
- All tractors must be 1965 or older to participate.
- Engines must be stock. We realize that with the age of
these tractors many of these engines will be overbored. We rely on the integrity
of the participants. Tractors with major modification (turbo, etc.) are
not allowed. It is possible that some engines will be subject to the dynamometer
test (judges decision). You may not exceed factory rated RPM's and horsepower
by more than 10%.
- No hitch may exceed 18-inches from ground level to top
of the drawbar. Length of the drawbar from the center of the axle no less
than 20-inches to the hook point. Hitch height will be checked on scales
during weight-in. In the absence of a pulling hook, use a clevis and ¾
inch bolt, tightened. This will be checked at the scales. Be sure you hitch
is approved.
- The head flagman will determine when a condition is unsafe
(front end float, bounce, speed, weights, or parts falling off tractor,
fire, etc.) and will "RED FLAG" THE PULLER IMMEDIATELY. The tractors must b kept within the boundaries (marked with white lines)
of the track at all times. THE FLAGMAN'S DECISION IS FINAL. Only
track officials are permitted on the track after a tractor starts to pull.
Front-end float is not to exceed knee height of the flagman. NO ADDITIONAL
RIDERS AT ANYTIME.
- The first puller in the class has the option of taking
the distances of his first pull or pulling in third (3rd) place. If he re-pulls,
the second (2nd) distance becomes official and final. A puller may stop
within the 75-footmark for any reason. Any tractor pulling less than 75-feet
will be returned to the starting line and restarted. The restart is FINAL.
- All Types of rubber tires (solid, pneumatic, and radial)
as well as steel wheels are permitted. No tracked vehicles or four wheel
drive are permitted to pull in the competition. Tire size is limited to
one (1) size over production model factory specifications.
- Tractors may not exceed weight class by more then 250 pounds.
This weight includes firmly attached (bolted) wheel weights and front frame
weights. No more than two (2) sets of wheel weights are allowed. Suitcase
weights may not exceed 10-inches from the center of the rear wheel. No after-market
brackets. No suitcase or wafer weights are allowed EXCEPT in open class
and that they are securely fastened. We reserve the right to alter or add
to these weight classes if the need arises. All tractors are required
to meet the weight specifications coming off the track, as well as before
they pull. All tractors must have original equipment and wheels (PTO,
hydraulic lift, etc.).

- OPEN STOCK CLASS will follow all rules except that all weight
types may be used as long as they are secured to the tractor. After market
weight brackets are permissive if bolted.
If you have any questions about anything, please ask the track
officials. We want everything clearly understood in order to avoid the possibility
of disputes after the pull starts. In the event of a dispute, the final decision
lies with the officers and directors of the organization. Their decision will
stand and is not open to appeal. All rules apply to the Antique Tractors Pulls sponsored by
Washington County Antique Tractor Club.

We thank you for coming and wish you good luck!
